John Emanuel

Executive Chef

Meet John Emanuel, a Chef with over 20 years of experience in the realm of gastronomy. Throughout his journey, he devoted 15 years to immersing himself in the art of Italian cuisine, mastering its flavors and techniques.

His culinary prowess has not gone unnoticed, as he has had the privilege of delighting the palates of numerous celebrities and esteemed public figures from diverse backgrounds, including Roger Federer, Billy Joel, Stephen Curry, Drake, Odell Beckham Jr., and Scottie Pippen, individuals he deeply admires. 

With a creative flair, John Emanuel has earned a well-deserved reputation for his innovative approach to cooking. With unwavering dedication, John ensures that his kitchen operates at peak efficiency while strictly adhering to health code standards. Beyond his culinary expertise, John’s exceptional interpersonal skills play an integral role in his kitchen’s success. 

His leadership fosters a learning environment, motivating and inspiring his team to achieve excellence. His commitment to culinary craft, combined with his genuine passion for food, is reflected in every dish he creates. Eddy Villalta Navarro

Chef de Cuisine

I am Eddy Villalta Navarro. I was born in Costa Rica 46 years ago, and I have spent around 27 years in the world of gastronomy.

I started my culinary studies at the age of 19 at INA (National Learning Institute) in Costa Rica. I completed a supervised internship at the Intercontinental Hotel in San José, where I worked for 8 years, developing my skills in different areas of banquet kitchens and the Mirage Restaurant, which specializes in French cuisine. I obtained professional cook certification through WACS (currently Worldchefs) in Costa Rica. I also took various courses and worked alongside international chefs in gastronomic festivals at the hotel.

Afterward, I worked as a chef in Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine restaurants.

I am currently Chef de Cuisine at The Falls at Blue Ridge, where, along with my childhood friend John Emanuel, the Executive Chef, we are creating a fresh, creative, honest, simple, elegant culinary proposal, filled with local and international flavors.
