Hoffman Smith Wedding: A Colorful Celebration at The Falls at Blue Ridge

Guests arrived in vibrant shades of red, yellow, teal and blue, while the wedding arch featured beautiful coral, orange and pink flowers. 

Set against the lush green woods, the colorful details created a stunning contrast with the mountain landscape. This beautiful celebration was the Hoffman Smith wedding at The Falls at Blue Ridge in Ellijay, Georgia.

Getting Ready, First Looks and a First Touch

The morning began with the bride getting ready alongside her bridesmaids, who wore light blue, while the groom got ready with his groomsmen in crisp white shirts.

Before the ceremony, the bride had an emotional first look with her father and another emotional moment with her bridesmaids before a quiet first touch between the couple.

A Ceremony Among the Trees

The wedding ceremony took place with rows of wooden chairs facing the forest. 

The bride carried a bouquet of coral and pink flowers, while an orange, pink and green floral wall added color to her portraits. 

After exchanging their vows, the newlyweds walked to the rocks and flowing water on the property for their portrait. 

The natural stone and moss made a beautiful backdrop that was different from a traditional lawn or floral wall.

Cocktail Hour and Reception

During cocktail hour, guests in colourful outfits mingled over drinks and spent time together. The venue also provides its own catering and drinks, so couples can choose to keep that part of the celebration on the property.

Later in the evening, the couple made a grand entrance through an arched wooden doorway, as guests entered the reception space. The lights were warm, the dance floor was busy and there was a tall white cake with a textured design. A live painter was painting at an easel for guests to see, a fun and unique addition to the reception.
