Kelley & Colton’s Wedding Day at The Falls at Blue Ridge
When you look through Colton’s portraits, the first thing you notice is his smile. It’s wide and natural, appearing again and again as the trees change colors behind him. Kelley has the same warm smile in her portraits, holding her bouquet as the fall colors glow around her. Their wedding at The Falls at Blue Ridge, a wedding venue in Ellijay, North Georgia, is filled with happy faces and beautiful moments.
Small moments before the crowd
The day began quietly. Kelley had her makeup done while a husky stayed nearby. Colton put on his cufflinks and adjusted his vest. Nearby, their wedding invitation rested beside their rings, with both their names printed on it: Kelley and Colton.
Holding Each Other Close Among the Trees
Then the portraits began. Kelley and Colton were close together, standing on a path strewn with leaves, sunlight dappling through the branches. Kelley’s white gown was stunning against the rocks and red leaves by the waterfall, but Colton never left her side. A wider shot of the couple on the open lawn showed them standing together against the hillside. It was the kind of photo they would want to frame and treasure for years to come.
A Ceremony Surrounded by Family and Friends
When the ceremony began, guests filled the wooden chairs along the aisle. White flowers and greenery decorated the space behind Kelley and Colton as they exchanged vows. A close-up photo captured the ring exchanged, showing their hands as one ring slipped onto a finger. Kelley’s bridesmaids stood beside her in emerald green dresses that complemented the fall leaves.
After the ceremony, family portraits captured warm hugs and moments of togetherness. The wedding party photos were more playful, with fun poses and a few shots of someone being lifted into the air.
Then the room filled up
The celebration moved into the timber lodge, where wooden beams, chandeliers, and candlelit round tables created a warm atmosphere. Later in the evening, the dance floor filled with guests dancing and raising their hands in the air. Warm amber lighting filled the room, with flashes of purple and blue adding color. With catering and drinks provided in-house at The Falls, couples can spend more time enjoying the celebration with their guests.
